Jamaica: Firearm holder shoots two robbers

(JAMAICA OBSERVER) – Two alleged robbers were shot and injured by a licensed firearm holder and a firearm seized during an attempted robbery on Molynes Road in Kingston today.

Reports from the Half Way Tree Police are that about 11:55 am three men allegedly attempted to rob people at a plaza when they were challenged by the firearm holder.

Police said two of the men were shot while the third man escaped. The police were summoned and the injured men taken to hospital where they were admitted under police guard.

A .38 Smith and Wesson revolver with three .38 cartridges was seized at the scene.
