routesPRESS RELEASE – The Caribbean’s leading Tour Company Island Routes Caribbean Adventureswas celebrating this week after achieving its one millionth tour booking after just six years in operation.

Having launched in Jamaica in 2009, Island Routes has gone on to take the travel industry by storm experiencing explosive growth that now sees it operating in 11 destinations throughout the Caribbean. The company has received a raft of prestigious awards, including eight World Travel Awards.

The one millionth booking, made by a couple visiting the island of Saint Lucia from the United States, is a significant milestone for what has become one of the region’s most exciting companies. This caps off a year that has seen it make great strides into the destination management sector, inroads into Mexico, and also saw it named the World’s Leading Caribbean Attraction Company at the World Travel Award for the fifth consecutive year.

David Shields, Vice President of Sales, commented, “When we started life as a small outpost in Montego Bay, Jamaica, just six short years ago, no one could have foreseen the great strides we’ve taken so far. We’ve dedicated our lives to providing breathtaking and authentic experiences for visitors to the region we call home, so it’s perhaps no surprise that we’ve seen such popularity; we’re talking about the greatest tours in the most stunning locations.

The most satisfying part of this achievement is that it means we’re doing something right and this is a great testament to our team members throughout the Caribbean region, our travel partners, the tour providers and everyone who has worked so hard to create this magic.”

The Island Routes team took to the beach to celebrate their achievement the ‘live funner’ way!
