INTERNATIONAL: Kentucky police officer suspended after Facebook meme about black crime

facebook-post-david-hale-jpgNEW YORK DAILY NEWS – A Kentucky corrections officer has been suspended after laughing at a racist Facebook post and sharing it with his friends.

Derek Hale, a sergeant for Louisville Metro Corrections, had reposted a meme on his personal page with a white officer seemingly discussing police brutality against black men and boys.

“Ha … truth,” Hale, who has since removed his Facebook account, added as a caption.

The Louisville Urban League criticized both Hale and the meme itself.

  1. I personally don't see anything wrong but when you work in a job such as this don't make any comments about crime or mention events about citizens in the contents of your profession ? Liberals don't like the truth or truthful jokes ?
