INTERNATIONAL: Georgian woman accused of confining adopted daughter in chicken coop sentenced to 190 years

chicknweABC NEWS – A Georgia woman has been sentenced to 190 years in prison on child-cruelty charges after prosecutors said she confined her adopted daughter in a chicken coop and an outhouse, tied her by the neck to a tree, and shocked her with remote-controlled electronic dog collars.

The Macon Telegraph ( http://bit.ly/1SMPxlf ) reports that Diana Franklin was convicted last month of 19 counts of first-degree cruelty to children, eight counts of false imprisonment and one count of aggravated assault.

Franklin adopted the girl in 2007 when she was 10 years old. Social workers removed the girl from the home in Taylor County in 2012.

  1. I am asking the St.Lucian court to give the same amount of time to Kersharma William Ferdinand and her Husband for the death of little Milan Ferdinand who was viciously murdered by them two bastards. Again the same should go to the father of little Devin the four year old from Coolie Town who was beaten mercilessly my his savage father but survive they all need long sentences in prison 190 years will suit them very well to make make sure they all die in jail.

  2. Every time I read news like this I cringe inside. Damage done to children becomes a life long hurt. Every time that you think you forgot and moved on, something happens and the memories and hurt returns. The scars deep in your heart and soul haunts you for the rest of your days.

You can forgive the perpetrator, but the other people that knew and never did anything you end up hating even more.
