INTERNATIONAL: Dylann Roof sentenced to death for church massacre

NEW YORK POST – It took a Charleston federal jury less than three hours Tuesday to sentence convicted mass killer Dylann Roof to death by lethal injection.
Roof, 22, who was convicted last month of slaughtering nine worshipers at the historically black Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church during bible study in June 2015, stared straight ahead as the verdict was read.
The jury’s latest verdict concluded the penalty phase of his trial, during which the panel deliberated whether he should face capital punishment or life in prison without parole.
They also unanimously found that Roof inflicted seriously bodily injury and that he intentionally killed.
