Kariem Roberts was arrested for the March 1 beating and robbery of Joseph Molohon, 37, at Texas Chicken & Burgers on Ocean Ave. at Church Ave. in Prospect Park South, cops said.
Molohon, who was sitting in a booth near the cashier’s counter around 7:30 p.m., overheard two men loudly discussing that no one would give them a dollar, according to sources.
When he offered to help, the two men launched into a rage, screaming and pummeling him with punches in the caught-on-video attack.
The assailants then grabbed his cane and beat him with it, police said. They were quickly joined by two other brutes, who punched and kicked him in the head and body.
The group finally dragged the good Samaritan toward the front door, and rifled through his pockets before fleeing, cops said. Customers continued walking into the restaurant, stepping over him until police arrived and aided the man.
Paramedics took Molohon to a local hospital to be treated for broken bones, including his nose, and cuts and bruises, police said.
Roberts turned himself in on Thursday, and was also identified in a photo lineup, police sources said. Authorities charged him with robbery, gang assault and menacing.
Roberts has eight prior arrests, dating back to 2009, sources said. He was most recently busted on Feb. 10 and charged with grand larceny for a September robbery.
The three other assailants are still being sought for their part in the bone-breaking beatdown.
