PRESS RELEASE –
In the ongoing efforts to meet the mandate and objectives of the Foundation, members of the Hyacinth Family Foundation embarked on a series of projects this year to feed the needy in various communities throughout Saint Lucia.

In June, members sourced food items and presented hampers to needy families in the communities of Roseau and Jacmel. The group also embarked on an initiative to feed the less privileged in Castries, and has been providing breakfast every 3rd Saturday of the month since June, to members of the public in the car park of the Bideau-Bolivar Square. A similar exercise has been scheduled for Saturday August 23rd, 2014 from 8:00am.

The members of the Hyacinth Family Foundation are thankful for the assistance provided thus far from sponsors such as Cadasse Bakery and look forward to being able to contribute even more in the near future.

The Hyacinth Family Foundation was formed in celebration of the legacy created by Willy and Anne-Marie Hyacinth of 39 High Street, Castries. The Foundation was established on March 19th, 2012 and consists mainly of first, second and third generation members of the Hyacinth family and their spouses. For more information or to offer assistance, contact the Foundation at P.O. Box CP5644, or by email on [email protected]

  1. We all can contribute to make a better day for someone else. I always contribute to the needy when I can.
