Hyacinth Family Foundation donates to shut in

PRESS RELEASE – The Hyacinth Family Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation, has continued with its efforts at reaching the poor in the community.

On Saturday, April 19, members of the Hyacinth Family, in conjunction with the Four Roads Group, presented various food and toiletry items to the shut-in residents of the Four Roads Community, which stretches from Guesneau to Ti Rocher in Castries.

The presentation was timed to coincide with the Easter celebrations that weekend.  “Easter is a time for reflection and thanksgiving and we at the Hyacinth Family Foundation take great pleasure in reaching out to the less fortunate, especially at this time of year,” said Francis Hyacinth, one of the directors at the Foundation.

The Hyacinth Family Foundation was formed in celebration of the legacy created by Willy and Anne-Marie Hyacinth of 39 High Street, Castries.

The Foundation was established on March 19, 2012 and consists mainly of first, second and third generation members of the Hyacinth family and their spouses.
