UPDATED: House fire in Forestiere

A dwelling was destroyed by fire in Forestiere earlier today, Feb. 7, 2018, officials have said.

The fire, which occurred around 3 p.m., destroyed a 20ft x 18ft structure owned by a Romiel Sookwa.

A 23-year-old, Jaye Sookwa, was treated for smoke inhalation by ambulance personnel.

Additional details were not immediately available.

  1. I am so sorry for your Romiel but......... It's being 5 years I haven't had a relationship with your Grandson which is my son Jade. I guess God is saying something to you all. I have tried everthing and still cannot talk to him. Jade your mom praying for you night and day. I am so sorry you were involved in such tradegy. Just remember my son, there will be a time the Lord will say enough is enough.
