With three weeks left before Christmas Day, a family of four will be without a home and livelihood.

A house, made mainly out of wood, and its adjoining business (Suzie’s Place) on the St. Jude’s Highway, were completely destroyed by fire shortly about 1 am today. No one was hurt.

The house was reportedly occupied by a couple and their two children.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
