Flooding caused by torrential rains in St. Vincent swept away several houses and causeways on Tuesday.
The island was most affected by a through system currently being experienced in the Eastern Caribbean.
Vincentians woke up to massive flooding on Tuesday following overnight showers.
News agencies there reported that schools were closed and non-essential workers were ordered to stay at home.
Shelter was provided to some 20 people from various parts of the island.
There were also reports of some graves being destroyed or the contents exposed.
The damaged caused by the heavy rain is still unknown.
