Heavy rains lash St. Lucia
By Horace Cunningham

Heavy rains continue to lash St. Lucia and neighbouring islands as a large trough continues to influence weather condition over the lower portion of the eastern Caribbean.
The rain has so far lead to landslides and flooding in several areas as the local Met office issues warnings for persons living and transiting flood prone areas and areas prone to land slippages.
The trough is typical of late November weather as the hurricane season ends.
The weather conditions are expected to continue throughout today.
