Guy Brown Memorial League volleyball competition continues

PRESS RELEASE – The 3rd weekend of the 2014 Bank of St. Lucia Guy Brown Memorial League featured the Junior National team facing off against reigning champions Jetsetters Volleyball in the men’s division, Jetsetters verses Junior Nationals and Dig Set Point vs Le Club Volleyball in the women’s division.

The junior national team had a stiff uphill climb going up against Jesetters led by 2 time world qualifier MVP, Joseph Clercent. The nerves of the youth boys showed in the first set as Jetsetters showed no mercy in the offensive onslaught.

The boys received encouragement from the coaches Elvin Germain (Head) and Bernard President (Assistant) which resulted in an obvious show of confidence in the second. The small crowd cheered the boys on despite their loss to the champs.

Keson Edmund let Jetsetters in points scored with 12 points including 3 aces while Noah Didier from the Junior Team registered 6 points which included 2 serve aces.
