Police said charges are expected to be laid soon against the man who was wanted for the murder of Krystal Felix, the rape of a female and the attempted murder of two men.
The wanted man, Nathan Duncan, aka Q of Grass Street, Castries, was shot by the police during an operation on Grass Street, Castries on Friday, April 12 at about 3 p.m.
Duncan sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen and is currently admitted at Victoria Hospital under heavy security.
Police said the operation on Grass Street was in relation to the April 1 shooting at Auberge Seraphine in which Felix, a 22-year-old resident of Reduit, Gros Islet was shot and killed and two others, 21-year-old Yannick Sylvester aka Coco of City Gate, La Clery, and Nigel Acthile, 35, of Georgeville, sustained injuries.
Reports indicate that a gunman fired several shots in the direction of passengers getting off a boat.
Duncan will be charged for the attempted murder of Sylvester and Acthile.
Felix is scheduled to be buried today, April 15.
