The Gros Islet Secondary School, through its Junior Achievement company “IRIE DEALS”, has won four top awards as Chamber of Commerce wrapped up its 2013 awards ceremony.
Gros Islet won Company of the Year, Best Records of the Year, Achiever of the Year and the big prize the Governor General’s Award for Innovation, Originality and Creativity.
Also winning first places were the Choiseul Secondary School’s Leocarde Auguste for Sales Person of the Year and the Entrepot Secondary School for the Highest Rate of Return and for Best Attendance.
The theme for this year’s Junior Achievement programme was “Unleashing the Potential of Our Youth”.
