PRESS RELEASE – The Gros Islet Community with the Parliamentary Representative for Gros Islet Miss Emma Hippolyte will be hosting Christmas Activities throughout the District for the Elderly and the Children this coming weekend.

The Christmas Activities will start off with Christmas Party for the Children in Grand Riviere, Monchy and Gros Islet districts on Saturday 19th December.  .The venues will be the Primary Schools in the different areas and the Event will start off at 1.00 p.m.  The Event will include the distribution of Toys.  

The Activities will continue on Sunday 20th December with Lunch for the Elderly which will be held at the Dame Pearlette Primary School from 1.00 p.m.  

The Gros Islet Community and the Parliamentary Representative for Gros Islet Miss Emma Hippolyte would like to thank all the Sponsors and Organizers for their contribution and continued support for these activities and would like to extend a very Good Christmas to All.

  1. OK... So after the Christmas activities we go home to our empty cupboards. We need jobs that will sustain us and provide food for our families. Not charity and hand outs. Keep your activities. My vote going on the next side this time. I'm Taking my chances.

    • I agree. SLP is living and operating in the past. STEP and one-time giveaways is the new form of rum-and-corned beef politics. Only other country bookies fall for that crap.
      But since we have so many, and SLP has created so many more hand-to-mouth idiots roaming idle around the place, they will come. They will wait for the campaign block party for their next sure meal.
