PRESS RELEASE – The Grande Riviere Development Committee will be hosing its 2nd Annual Community Family Fun Day on Sunday, February 21st on the Grande Riviere Playing Field in Gros Islet from 1pm.

In commemoration of St. Lucia’s 37th Anniversary of Independence, GRDC will be showcasing the talents and skills of the residents in the community. The President of GRDC, Kirby Sydney is extending an invitation to the community to be part of this fun filled Day.

The packed day will feature activities such as lime & spoon, sac race, egg toss, wheelbarrow race, sprints and many more. There will also be face painting for the kids. Lots of fun prizes to be won.

This event being the first major event for the year is expected to attract the vision of the committee in encouraging community engagement.
