The management of Glace Motors Ltd and officials from the National Workers Union have begun industrial negotiations.
The meetings have been cordial and productive, and agreement has been reached on many fringe benefits submitted by the NWU in its Memorandum of Proposals.
On completion of the negotiations, over 120 workers employed with the company within its supermarket operations on Bridge Street, Marisule, Rodney Bay and Bella Rosa, will have their general working conditions established and regulated in an industrial agreement.
The NWU’s team at the talks is led by Acting Assistant Secretary General Solace Myers, as well as four shop stewards.
