GIS NEWS: Over 2,200 sat Common Entrance Examination

exam1A total number of 2,285 Grade Six primary school students sat the Common Entrance Examination yesterday, June 13.

Registrar of Examinations, Carmelita Matthew, said in preparation for the exam the Division of Education conducted quality assurance checks at test centers to ensure the administration of the exam goes smoothly, while the Educational Evaluation and Assessment Unit held meetings with the principals and administrators of the centres.

“We sent, in advance, the required materials that correspond with the number of candidates each institution will be accommodating,” she added, “while the examination papers were prepared, to distributed on the day of exams.”
