Get 4G fast with fabulous phone deals from LIME

PRESS RELEASE – LIME is shaking up the market with massive discounts on top-of-the-line smartphones and giving away loads of free credit and free data, making it even easier for customers to get on Saint Lucia’s fastest 4G network and enjoy blazing speeds!

The Alcatel CPop C1 Android and Nokia Asha 210 Windows Phone are both available for just $199. Customers buying either of these phones get $150 free credit. Also, when you sign up for a data plan of 500MB or more, you get 100% bonus data, or Double Data, free!

LIME is also slashing prices by a whopping 50% on a range of phones. The Huawei Y300 is on sale for just $199; the Samsung Pocket Neo can be had for $184; and the Nokia 520 is available for $284. In addition, customers signing up for a data plan 500MB or more get Double Data free!

These new offers come as the company gears up to expand 4G coverage islandwide in 2014. The company has invested heavily in deploying the nation’s first 4G network, and has committed to making superfast 4G speeds available in every community in Saint Lucia.

“LIME is pleased to have been first to introduce 4G to Saint Lucia and to steer the local telecom industry in that direction,” said Ms Geraldine Pitt, CEO LIME Southern Cluster. “It is exciting for us to be able to offer our customers a flat mobile calling rate of just 60 cents a minute, but it’s also important to be able to offer them fantastic deals, huge savings and great value to support the next evolution of service so that our customers get more opportunities to experience LIME’s superfast 4G network live on their mobile devices. We want mobile broadband to be accessible to everyone – prepaid, postpaid, professionals and businesses.”

LIME mobile customers can sign up for a data plan by dialing *129# and following the appropriate menu prompts. LIME became the first mobile operator to offer 4G speeds to customers in Saint Lucia in July 2013, with islandwide expansion planned for this year.

    • Good evening, JP. It's not a question of what is being displayed on your phone - that is controlled by Apple, or whichever manufacturer. Apple, for instance, for some time had arrangements with certain providers that handsets will only show "4G" on their networks.

The question is, what speeds are you experiencing?

    • We've been selling Android handsets for under $300 for nearly a year now. More in some cases, as we first introduced Android phones in 2010 or 2011.
