The management of G4S Secure Solutions (St. Lucia) Limited and representatives from the National Workers Union (NWU) will meet next week Wednesday and Thursday, May 8 and 9, 2013 to commence negotiations.
The parties will use a 30-point Memorandum of Proposals submitted by the NWU as a working document. The memorandum includes a new pay structure and a regime of fringe benefits.
It is expected that when negotiations are concluded over 200 cashiers, supervisors, armed and general security guards employed with G4S Secure Solutions will benefit.
The NWU has established three industrial agreements with security companies.
