Castries Central Member of Parliament Richard Frederick was discharged from hospital on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 after undergoing surgery to remove kidney stones.

Frederick said that he began feeling excruciating pain in his stomach on Tuesday and rushed to Tapion Hospital in the wee hours of the morning.

He told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) that he is doing much better now and urged everyone to practice healthy eating and drinking.

“I urge everyone to do so, because pain emanating from kidney stones is almost unbearable. I was in a lot of pain,” Frederick explained.
