PRESS RELEASE – This week the members of the class of 2000 of the Soufriere Comprehensive Secondary School are celebrating their 15th anniversary of graduation from that institution.

As part of their activities some of the past students from that group paid a surprise visit to Juliette Mauricette Tuesday 21st July.

Juliette was a victim of a heinous attack several years ago injuring her so severely that she lost her vision completely. Juliette also suffered other injuries to other parts of her body in the process.

Juliette is actually a former student of the Soufriere Comprehensive Secondary school and was part of the cohort that graduated before graduation in 2000 but never completed school past Form 2.

Despite this, the class felt it necessary to show its love and support to her by making an offering of a hamper filled with household items. This was a highly emotional moment for all especially for Juliette who shed tears of immense gratitude expressed her immense love to all of her former colleagues.

The class of 2000 remains committed to the title of their graduation song “Friends Forever” by Vitamin C. This was undoubtedly shown when this generous presentation was made.

The graduating class of 2000 sends out a message of peace and love to all Saint Lucians and calls on all young people especially to seek, love and peace and to remain virtuous.
