Football action in Castries kicks off after the Easter break

(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – The Castries Football Council (CFC) youth and senior footballs tournaments will recommence this weekend after a short break for Easter.

In the senior promotional league one match will take place at the Corinth playing field on Saturday from 4:00 pm with the much-anticipated clash between NYAH FC and Flow Lancers FC. The first-round match between these teams did not take place so with the two teams tied on four points they will both be looking to move to the top of the table with a victory. The other match of the weekend between Valley Soccer Club and FC Pioneers has been postponed due to the commencement of the Saint Lucia Football Association (SLFA) U23 tournament.

In the SLFA/CFC Northern Zone youth league the U10s will kick off action at the Corinth playing field on Saturday from 10:00 am. The matches are as follows:

VSADC Pinehill U10 vs B1
Valley Soccer Club vs Big Players
New Generation vs GMC United
Massy Stores Northern United vs Flow Lancers FC

There will be a U17 double header at La Clery at Saturday from 12:00 pm. The first match will feature Massy Stores Northern United vs New Generation and at 2:00 pm VSADC Lucozade U17 will play BAYS.

The U17 action will conclude on Sunday at Corinth, in the first match Valley Soccer Club will play Big Players and the final match of the weekend will see FC Pioneers play Reduit FC.
