Mr. Eddie Hazell expressed his gratitude to Fina for the invitation. He also took the opportunity to present St. Lucia’s Five Year Aquatic Development Plan to FINA’s President at the opening of the new FINA headquarters.
The plan in its wholesomeness was voluntarily developed by Ms. Yasmin Tyson, the Aquatics Development Officer and the Administrative Vice President Mrs. Paula James of the SLASA.
As part of the development plan, SLASA primarily conducted and concluded a swimming training orientation for some 47 persons, some of whom were teachers, community leaders and other interested persons.
