FEATURE: Kaysia Verneuil – Mizik Mélé Mélange Creole Pageant

Each week, starting today, St. Lucia News Online will feature a biography for a contestant in the Mizik Mélé Mélange Creole Pageant which is set for September 27. Today we feature Kaysia Verneuil.

Kaysia comes from the beautiful community of Laborie. She can be best described as audacious and enthusiastic.

The 18-year-old beauty loves sports and also enjoys reading, dancing, acting and singing. She said: “Just name it, I can do it.”

Kaysia has participated in debates, including creole debates. “Creole is inevitably in my bones,” she adds.

The Laborie contestant is also a member of the Rotaract Club and is actively involved in the promotion of social services through community enhancement and development projects.

As a recent graduate of the Sir Arthur Community College, Kaysia says her dream is to one day become a doctor specialising in pediatric care.

She is confident about becoming the next Miss Mizik Mele Melange.
