Faces of cancer observes Cancer Prevention Month

(PRESS RELEASE) – The aim of Faces of Cancer St. Lucia is to raise cancer awareness all over St. Lucia, thus giving cancer patients a better chance at survival.

In addition, we seek to bring all cancer survivors together and to support each other .With this in mind, Faces of Cancer St. Lucia will be concluding Cancer Prevention Month on Friday 28th February 2020.

To this end, we have planned a night of reflection, hope and honour. This activity will start at 5p.m at the Derek Walcott Square and will involve the following:

Procession of survivors and well wishes from the Derek Walcott Square to Serenity Park.
Ceremony at Serenity park
Release of candles in the harbour.
