PRESS RELEASE – The East Caribbean Financial Holding Company Limited (ECFH) Board of Directors has announced the confirmation of the appointment of Mrs. Esther Brown-Weekes to the post of Group Managing Director with effect from 1st January 2015.

Mrs. Brown-Weekes’ experience spans several years in the financial services sector in the areas of Financial Management, Risk Management and Strategic Management.

She holds a MSc. in Finance and is also a Certified Director from the ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators) Directors Education and Accreditation Programme.

Commenting on the appointment ECFH Chairman, Lisle Chase noted “Mrs. Brown-Weekes has led the team in this capacity from December 2012, and taken the organization through some difficult times. We are pleased now to formally make this announcement.”

ECFH is the largest financial institution in the OECS and is the parent company of two domestic banks – Bank of Saint Lucia Limited and Bank of St. Vincent & the Grenadines; an offshore banking subsidiary – Bank of Saint Lucia International Limited; and investment brokerage subsidiary – ECFH Global Investments Solutions.
