(CMC) – Police say they are continuing the search for three people, including an unidentified foreign national, who have been reported missing at sea since Sunday.

In a statement, the police said that the Coast Guard had received a report on Sunday afternoon, that the missing were on a boat named “Tsunami” which was last seen 48 miles west of the island.

The police said that a search, involving the Coast Guard and the Regional Security System (RSS), has failed to locate the Dominicans Brenton Christian, Noel Lawrence and the “male foreign national, whose identity is unknown”.

It is not known whether the men were attempting to reach the neighbouring French islands of Martinique or Guadeloupe when they were reported missing.
