Domestic violence the main focus of Micoud Adventist event

The Micoud District of Seventh-day Adventists is pleased to present “Women of Grace” from October 17th – 19th, 2014 at the Ti-Rocher Seventh-day Adventist Church.

This is a programme initiated and executed by the Pastor’s Wives (Shepherdesses) of the south-eastern zone. The main aim of this initiative is to utilise Shepherdesses in addressing key issues facing the family, particularly women in our society.

A primary focus is domestic violence which we hope to address through various angles: physical, emotional, social, psychological and of course spiritual.

The weekend will be culminated with a grand “END IT NOW” March on Sunday October 19th, 2014 from 4:00p.m. We are extending an invitation to all interested persons to be a part of this great event as we parade though the community of Ti-Rocher demonstrating that the first step to solving the social ills in our society is through Jesus Christ.

The March will commence at the Ti-Rocher SDA Church and terminate at the Ti-Rocher Multi-purpose Centre with an Open Air Programme.
