The 32-year-old — also a two-time Olympic champion — coasted to a world-leading time for the year of 10.71 seconds, claiming her fourth women’s 100 metres world title.

Jamaican teammates Elaine Thompson (10.93) and Jonielle Smith (11.09) were fourth and sixth respectively.
