As the 22nd Annual Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival draws near, Digicel, platinum sponsors of this prestigious event, is geared to support “Jazz on the Bay” which is a celebration of what makes the Saint Lucia Marigot Bay unique in beautiful St. Lucia on May 3, 2013.

Marigot Bay, located on the western coast of   Saint Lucia, was dubbed by American novelist James A. Michener as “The most beautiful bay in the Caribbean.”

A historic landmark, having been the site of a number of battles between the French and British navies, today is a location of luxurious homes, hotels and famous individuals.

‘Jazz on the Bay’, a brainchild of the Marigot Village, will be held on May 3 from 1 pm to 6 pm. Great music, ambiance and scenery awaits as this FREE event promises explosive performances by the “Ten 90 Duo” featuring Mervin Wilkinson, Emerson Nurse, Pringles (Superman HD), Inner Urge, Teddyson John and DYP . Radio personality “Pringles” will once again be the master of ceremonies bringing his unique humour and presence to the event.

Delicious food and drink will be in abundance and on sale at the Marina, as not only the musical appétit will be fulfilled but also the pallets of the patrons.

Endorsed by the St Lucia Tourist board, ‘Jazz on the Bay’ is welcomed at this 22nd edition of the St Lucian Jazz and Arts festival as it shows a step forward in integrating community-based events.

Digicel’s Marketing Manager Kerchelle Jno Charles said: “Digicel has decided to partner with the Marigot Village for the second year as Jazz on the Bay offers a unique experience for all. The ambiance is unmatched and allows visitors and locals to enjoy great music.”

Come out in large numbers to support this magnificent ‘Jazz on the Bay, May 3, 2013 at the Marigot Village.
