Digicel for the month of December rewarded many of its extraordinary customers island wide through its Brighten Someone’s Christmas promotion.
To date eight customers from various communities in St Lucia have walked away with $5,000 cash each. Sabina Elibox and Sean Maxwell prepaid and postpaid customers respectively got the pleasant surprise that they were each winners of $5,000 cash in the Digicel Brighten Someone’s Christmas promotion. This now brings the total number of $5,000 winners to ten and a total Digicel cash giveaway of $50,000.
Sabina Elibox, a prepaid customer new to the Digicel Family, became the ninth Digicel winner. A resident of Bexon, Elibox topped up her Digicel handset with $10 in order to keep in touch with family and friends after the Christmas Eve torrential rains emerged as the winner of $5,000 cash.
Totally stunned and excited Elibox explained, “This is the most wonderful thing to have ever happened to me. I just topped up my phone and I won. This $5,000 cash will help me after all of this rain, thank you Digicel.”
Continuing to brighten lives, team Digicel moved across to Soufriere to surprise Sean Maxwell, the tenth winner of $5,000 cash. Maxwell a Digicel postpaid customer for the past five years always ensured his bill was paid on time.
Elated that he was the latest winner Emmanuel said, “I am overwhelmed by this prize and can’t believe that I actually won $5,000 cash. Digicel has made today a great day and I would like to encourage all persons to join the Digicel family, the company that makes us winners.”
“Digicel is really excited about the ten $5,000 cash winners realized over the Christmas Season. It is our way to brighten our customer’s lives and to assist with alleviating some of their financial burdens” said Sergin John-Baptiste, Public Relations & Communications Executive.
“These past few weeks have been a time for giving and sharing and it was indeed a pleasure for Digicel to award customers with cash and prizes which assisted them with having a brighter and more fulfilling season”.
