Did you know that during July 1919, Penny Postage between the United States and the Windward Islands started? The day and night service of the Telephone System began and the Postal War Tax was also repealed in that year.

Did you know by September 24, 1919, the last members of the Overseas Contingent of troops had returned home? A number of those who had gone to “do their bit” did not return; thirty-six of them had given their lives for their country for the cause of freedom.
