Dennery looking for record 4th Blackheart Football title


PRESS RELEASE – As the finalist in the 2015 Blackheart/SLFA Knockout football tournament fine tune their preparations for Saturday’s final, one of the two finalists is looking to create history.

Dennery is three time former champions and will be seeking a record breaking fourth title in Saturday night’s final.

A member of the Dennery technical team Fabian Constable spoke to our sports desk on their preparations for the final.

Constable added that it is going to be an exciting final and they will not be taking their opponents Micoud lightly.

Whoever emerges victorious will go down in history as the first person to ever win the Blackheart Football title as a player and a coach.

Dennery’s coach Timothy “hurricane” Emmanuel has won the as a player in 2007and 2008 while Micoud’s Coach Cornelius “bull’ Butcher won the title as a player in 2010 when Micoud won their only title. Saturday’s final kicks off at 8.00p.m. With the third place play off between Soufriere and Canaries kicking off at 5.00p.m.

At Saturday’s final there will be a raffle for a ticket as one lucky patron at the finals will get a chance to win that ticket that ticket for a trip to Barbados.
