The overarching goal of this programme is to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, attitudes and values needed for them to live a productive life. This two week programme will come to an end on August 4, 2015.
During the course of this program students will be exposed to oral presentations on the following topics: conflict resolution, life coaching, decision making, spirituality, problem solving, sex education, strategies to be a successful student, and substance abuse. These presentations will be delivered by trained professionals using a wide array of interactive strategies such as role-playing, and group activities including arts and sports.
To culminate this activity the students will create a public service announcement promoting the merits of a crime-free life which will be aired on television stations in St. Lucia. This initiative is taking place at the Post – Secondary Department, formally Campus A, Upper new Dock Road, in Vieux Fort.
