Popular talk show Dolor Factor Live (DFL) brought joy to many faces on Thursday, March 14, 2013 when they presented two women with tokens of appreciation.

As part of DBS’s International Women’s Month celebrations, DFL’s Executive Producer and Presenter Delia Dolor asked viewers to nominate women they wanted DBS to recognise.

Two women were selected: Dr Kim Gardner, director of the Child Development and Guidance Centre was nominated by colleague Jane McManus for being a “voice for children with special educational needs,” and Michelle Joseph who nominated her mother Mary J Victor for her years for being a mother who loves “fearlessly and she does the tough love too!”

Dolor Factor Live sponsors Karib Cable, Vision Express, Infinity Colour Shop, Ferrands and Touch Therapies presented the women with a selection of gifts as tokens of appreciation.

The show’s host Delia Dolor was pleased with viewers’ participation and was overwhelmed by the reactions of the recipients.

“As soon as Thia and I walked in there was an air of, we know something’s about to happen, and as soon as the words receiving recognition and appreciation were said, huge smiles emerged and became heart felt.”

Dolor Factor Live broadcasts on DBS Thursdays at 8:30pm. Next week’s show on VAT and filing includes Inland Revenue Department Acting Comptroller Ms Adria Sonson.
