CSA Executive Council elections – Deadline for nominations

(PRESS RELEASE) – Members of the St. Lucia Civil Service Association (CSA) are informed that in conformity with Section (6.3) of the CSA’s Constitution, members of the Association who wish to run for office as members of the Executive Council and as Trustees, are asked to submit a completed Nomination Form, Copy of your National Identification Card (front and back), and a Biography addressed to “The Secretary of the Elections Commission”, C/o St. Lucia Civil Service Association’s Secretariat, Sans Souci, Castries, on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 16th March, 2020 in a sealed envelope.

The following are the positions to be filled during the forthcoming Elections: –

1. President 5. Secretary 2. First Vice President 6. Treasurer 3. Second Vice President 7. Assistant Secretary/Assistant Treasurer 4. Third Vice President 8. Trustee (3)

Members are asked to note, that candidates who may wish to run for more than one position MUST indicate so. If the candidate is elected for more than one position, the candidate will inform the Elections Commission of the position he/she chooses.

All CSA members are, hereby, encouraged to demonstrate a keen interest in the affairs of the UNION by first ensuring that a reasonable number of nominations are received for each position, and then by casting your ballots during the elections.
