Creative Industries launches National Performance Programme

This Thursday, March 21, the National Performance program once again takes place in Castries , Soufriere and Vieux Fort.

From 11 am, the Castries micro-event will take place in Marchand as the Creative Industries seeks to open St. Lucian minds to the venue possibilities of the small “Tu Rouge” square from 11 am.

At 1:30 pm, the Soufriere town square will form the venue for the expansion of the N.P.P. while the Vieux Fort town square at 3 pm will round off national performances of music, theatre, comedy, poetry and dance.

As is standard, all performances will be evaluated to measure quality and delivery of national content, while also measuring potential for socio-economic impact island wide.

This data will be compiled and used to give scientific measure to the socio-economic impact of creative/ entertainment initiatives island wide.

The ministry encourages all interested St. Lucians to go to or contact their local or regional social transformation officers to register.
