PRESS RELEASE – Courts St. Lucia is delighted announce the latest donation of two air conditioning units to the Rodney Bay Police Station. This donation follows a past hand over of four AC units to that same police station, when it was officially opened to the public on June 11th 2010.
Sergeant at the Rodney Bay Police station, Anthony Martial, thanked Courts immensely for this timely donation.
“We wrote to Courts, requesting their assistance with the donation of one AC unit for the supervisor’s office. It was getting really unbearable to work under these conditions and we were hopeful that Courts, would donate the one unit for this purpose. What we never expected, was that upon visiting the station and hearing about our situation, Courts would instantly jump to our aid once again and donate a second AC unit for the interrogation room. This was unexpected and welcomed, Thanks to Courts!”
The Company’s OECS Marketing Manager, Mrs Anita Phillips, thanked the sergeant for considering Courts in their request for sponsorship.
“When the Rodney Bay Police Station was officially opened to the public in 2010, we were delighted to donate four AC Units from Courts. Now, upon hearing the plights of the police officers and their day to day inconveniences, we were more than happy to jump at the opportunity to donate an air conditioning unit to the station. Now, upon visiting the station and seeing the urgent need for a second unit in the interrogation room, we instantly agreed that saying no to another unit, was not an option.”
The Air Conditioning Units will be installed by internationally trained and curtained technicians from ServiTech absolutely Free of charge. Assistant Manager ServiTech, Mr Tevin Sheperd, was pleased with the opportunity to give back to the community and confirms continued support the Police Officers, as we rely on them for our safety.
