(PRESS RELEASE VIA SNO) – Local and Regional furniture and electrical superstore Courts has announced that six amateur interior decorators will participate in the company’s first ever Courts Independent Spaces Room Décor competition.
The event will be held this Wednesday February 28th 2018 at the Courts Marisule complex from 9 am to 6 pm, there will be “People’s Choice” voting from 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm, this aspect of the competition is open to the general public and allows bonus points to participants.
Each finalist visited a Courts store and selected furniture and accessory pieces of their choice. The competition which was opened to all persons interested in decorating gives aspiring decorators the much needed platform to showcase their talent and skill. Being in its first year, the call for decorators was well received.
The Courts Independent Spaces Room Décor Competition Participants are:

The winner of the Courts Independent Spaces Room Competition will walk away with $2000 in cash amongst other prizes. The 1st Runner UP will walk away with $1000 and 2nd Runner Up will receive $500.
All participants will be given tokens of appreciation for their participation. Courts, understanding the economic hardships being faced by a large number of aspiring decorators has presented each participant with $300 which went towards purchasing much needed essential supplies needed. We anticipate a competition of a very high standard as the judging points will be allotted to Creativity, Presentation, Originality, Craftsmanship, Crowd response, biggest posse amongst other criteria.
This year’s competition promises a great flow of events on that day as Courts hosts a much anticipated BOGO, yes buy one item on February 28th 2018 at any Courts store and receive 50% off the purchase of a second item of equal or lesser value! Aspiring decorators have been waiting for the opportunity to showcase their skills and talent and that opportunity can also be seen at the Courts Independent Spaces Room Decor competition 2018.
