Two residents from Monchy, Gros Islet are now patients at Victoria Hospital following a vehicular accident early this morning, Thursday, March 21 in their community, police said.

Elisius Breedy of Ravine Marcock, Monchy, reportedly lost control of a vehicle, which ran off the road and landed under the Monchy Bridge at about 3 a.m.

The passenger, Lucy Orilien, also of Marcock, Monchy, also sustained injuries. Orilien is reported to be Breedy’s girlfriend.

Both were admitted to hospital but their condition is unknown at this time.

Police are investigating.
