The University of the West Indies (UWI) Seismic Research Centre in Trinidad has confirmed that an earthquake was felt in Saint Lucia, Dominica and Martinique.

No damage was reported.

Preliminary results indicate that the earthquake occurred at about 10:49 a.m. and measured 4.3 in magnitude, the Centre revealed on its Facebook page.

The Centre further stated that the earthquake was felt at latitude 14.49 north and longitude 60.37 west, with a depth of 30km.

The earthquake occurred 79KM east of Fort-de-France, Martinique, 84km northeast of Castries, Saint Lucia, and 144km southeast of Roseau, Dominica.

The Centre however cautioned that this is only preliminary data which has not been reviewed by an analyst.

“It was automatically located by a seismological computational system, therefore, it is a preliminary result and this may vary when new additional data are processed,” the Centre noted.

  3. These quakes are nothing to worry about. Yahuah did say to not be afraid when these things happen. Just a warning to put our lives in order and serve the true Elohiym. When the greatest of all quakes come it will be a time when the whole world will hear the gospel at the same time and for the final time.
