Mon Repos

The Senior Club Football Competition continued on Wednesday at the Wenn Playing Field between Praslin Bay United and Patience Youth Organization.

The game finished 2-1 in favor of Praslin thanks to goals from Evanus Emmanuel in the 20th minute and Lee Charles in the 26th minute. The consolation goal for PYO came from Leslie James in the 75th minute.

Dennery

The Plante’s Place Senior Football Competition continued on Wednesday at the Dennery Playing Field with On The Rock Strikers defeating DCYO 3-0 after a goalless first half.

Goal ccorers for On The Rock Strikers were Jonathan Camille with two goals, taking his tally to four in two matches, while Natanus Annibaffa scored the third in the 90th minute.

The completion will continue on Sunday April 19, 2015 with D C Y O taking on HILLTOP BALLERS from 4:30 pm.

Castries

NYAH recorded a stunning come from behind victory over Police in the Registration Tournament on Wednesday. Police looked on course to take maximum points when Myron Alfred scored a brace with goals in the 19th and 54th minutes.

It was not until the 78th minute that NYAH’s persistence got them back in the game, Andel Christopher giving his team a sliver of hope. On the stroke of fulltime, the scores we levelled, courtesy of a goal by Phillip Ismael, and in a moment of sheer drama, Andel Christopher netted the stoppage-time winner for NYAH.

With that win NYAH moved to joint top of the table on six points with Flow Lancers FC.

Action resumes on Saturday 18th April when Police will attempt to hand Flow Lancers FC their first defeat of the tournament.

On Sunday there will be double header; the first match will feature FC Pioneers versus Sunrisers with both teams looking for their first victory. This will be followed by Valley Soccer versus NYAH. All matches take place at the SAB Playing facility.

Marchand

The Philip J Pierre Competition saw Bagatelle meeting Hill Top in Match 35 on Wednesday. The second half in particular was incident-packed, as first Kelvin Antoine, then Janiel Cherubin, then Cherubin again were shown yellow cards.

Cherubin’s second yellow saw Hill Top reduced to 10 men in the 76th minute, whereupon Bagatelle captain Perseus Narcisse beat the keeper from inside the 18-yard box to win the game. Bagatelle clawed past Hill Top to occupy seventh spot in Group A.

Gros Islet

The Football League Promotional Competition continues on Sunday 12th April at the Corinth Playing Field with two games.

The 1st game will feature Super J Northern United vs Monchy at 2.00 p.m. and the 2nd game will feature GMC vs Dominators at 4.00 p.m. All Teams are reminded to be at the Playing Field 1 hour before the games.
