PRESS RELEASE – What do a pack of gum, a football boot and a black marker have in common? If you were really smart, you would have been able to put those items together to make a creative and exciting story in just 80 words or less. and if you had, you would have been entered for a chance to win the fun, exciting, Alcatel OneTouch C1 from LIME, Saint Lucia and the Caribbean’s leading full service telecommunications provider.

And that was the case for Comida Louisy, a 22-year-old from the town of Soufriere, one of hundreds of fans who took part in the Really Smart contest on the LIME Saint Lucia Facebook page. Based on the Alcatel OneTouch tagline, Really Smart, the contest sparked fans’ imagination and creativity by giving them three random items about which they were asked to write a “not very smart” story. The most engaging and entertaining story with most likes was declared the winner!

Given a convertible, a bowl of bubble gum and a pogo stick, Comida wrote: “‘They see me rolling, they hating,’ the sounds echoing from Billy’s new convertible as he passed round the basketball court trying to get as many females into his ride. One really caught his attention, so he stopped to see her pop and twirl her bubble gum. He yelled, ‘aye mami.’ Upon realizing he was trying to get her attention she replied ‘move on fool, awaiting my ride.’ Suddenly, a guy came jumping with his pogo stick ‘anything the problem babe?'” Comida got nearly 200 likes for her story.

Comida picked up her brand new handset at LIME Blue Coral. The Alcatel One Touch Pop C1, with a 3.5-inch HVGA display, 2-megapixel camera and 1GHz dual-core processor, works best on Saint Lucia’s first 4G network. The C1 includes a 1300mAh battery and comes in two colour models – Neon Green and Pink. The handset is available from LIME for $199, and the company is giving $150 credit to new prepaid customers making the smart choice to buy this really smart phone.

LIME mobile customers can sign up for a data plan by dialing *129# and following the appropriate menu prompts. LIME became the first mobile operator to offer 4G speeds to customers in Saint Lucia in July 2013, with islandwide expansion planned for this year.
