PRESS RELEASE – Staff of Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa and St. Jude Hospital are collaborating to stage a grand Kids Bazaar and Family Fun Day on Easter Monday, April 21, 2014.

The event, which is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., will be held at the hotel’s main lawn which is located before the security entrance to the property.

The Easter Bazaar is being organised as a fundraising venture and forms part of ongoing support by Coconut Bay to St. Jude Hospital based on an existing Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions.

Coconut Bay’s contribution to the staging of the grand Kids Bazaar and Family Fun Day will be manifested through provision of the venue, food and entertainment. The hospital will capitalise on the opportunity to operate booths with clothing and toy items.

The Monday, April 21 Bazaar will feature a range of attractions and features such as: bouncing castles, pool and water slides, treasure hunt, face painting, cartoon characters, lucky dip, trampoline, teens karaoke, cash and other prizes.

This year’s Easter Bazaar is being staged following a 13-year break in the very popular St. Jude Bazaar which became an annual tradition in the south.

As part of its ongoing programme of support to St. Jude Hospital, Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa on Friday, April 4, 2014 presented a cheque of EC$15, 000 to chief executive officer and senior staff of the hospital during a cheque presentation ceremony and lunch at the hotel.

This represented a second cash donation to the hospital within a period of six months.

Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa appeals to all residents of the south and Saint Lucia generally to turn out in large numbers to patronize this fundraising Bazaar in support of St Jude Hospital.
