

Over two hundred students ranging from the casual walkers to the seasoned athletes traversed the Anse Canot route with the title of King and Queen of the road up for grabs. Winning the male category was Armani Louis of Walcott house in a time of 46:32.81. Junel Charlery from Walcott house and Shervius Alexander from Charles house, placed second and third respectively.
In the female category it was Lilyanna Sylvester a form one student of Charles house being victorious with Sirmyra Compton of Daniel house placing second and Sherniqua Mathurin of St. Omer house placing third overall in the female category. The activities continued in the afternoon with teachers’ fun sports. Head of the CMMSS sports committee Mr. Bernard President stated that he is excited about the upcoming sporting calendar and would like to encourage students, parents and the general public to be part of these sporting activities.
Upcoming events for CMMSS Inter-House Sports include the Inter-House Cycling Race and Fun Sports on Friday 5th February, 2016 and the Inter-House track and field championships on Wednesday 17th February, 2016.
The defending champion Walcott House will be chased by St. Omer House, Daniel House and Charles House all seeking to dethrone them.
