Clean-up campaign set to start in two weeks in Gros Islet

PRESS RELEASE – The Parliamentary Representative for Gros Islet Miss Emma Hippolyte in collaboration with the Gros Islet Constituency Management Group and the St. Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association will be having a Clean Up Campaign on Saturday 20th February in the Gros Islet Town and Community.

This project is to ensure that the residents are not affected by blocked drains and to also educate the residents on the effects of bad distribution of garbage and the effects in their area which can cause flooding and a long standing commitment towards a healthy St. Lucia, and in particular a healthy Gros Islet.

This Clean Up Campaign was also done in the town of Monchy on Saturday 6th February and the Parliamentary Representative is inviting all residents including the youths to participate in this Event which will start off at 6.30 a.m. in the Gros Islet Town.
