Ciceron man accused of having sex with sister

A Ciceron man who is accused of having sex with his sister pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned in the High Court last week.

The defendant is accused of knowingly having sexual intercourse with his sister on May 22, 2012 in Ciceron between the hours of 6:30 am and 3:30 pm.

The accused, who is unrepresented, is also ordered to prepare and file defence statements by April 21, 2013.

Justice Francis Cumberbatch is scheduled to set a trial date when he returns to court on April 21.

  1. hey there's 3 sides to a story my side your side and the truth i know the people involved and i know he did not do it . well i guess guilty until proven innocent in st.lucia .the sister change her story so many times she should be in jail


    • Your statement doesn't prove in any way that he didn't do it. The problem I have with this story is that it is not captioned "Man raped his sister" but instead "Man had sex with his sister". If he had sex with her, I am assuming she had sex with him. Again in my assumption, there seem to have been consent (based on the way the story unfolds).

      If I am wrong in my assessment can someone guide me? Was he charged with rape? If there was consent, why is he the only one charged? So help clear my clouded mind . . .
