PRESS RELEASE – Tuesdays just got a whole lot better at CIBC FirstCaribbean!

The regional bank has embarked on an exciting and engaging initiative – “Talk to Me Tuesdays!” – which will see its Branch Managers,  sales staff  and customer service representatives engaging with customers who visit its banking halls in a highly interactive and personaliSed manner.

Talk to Me Tuesdays!, which will occur at branches once every month between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. until the end of the year, will allow customers to receive firsthand information on all special promotions being offered by CIBC FirstCaribbean as well as the other products and services offered by the bank such as mortgages and loans, credit and debit cards, Auto-Pay for credit cards balances, credit card security insurance and internet banking and online bill payment.

Talk to Me Tuesdays! gives customers the opportunity to directly engage our banking professionals on any aspect of our services and products and receive immediate feedback and guidance.

“This dynamic sales drive is intended to provide us with more opportunities to deepen our relationship with our existing customers and build relationships with potential clients,” said CIBC FirstCaribbean’s Managing Director, Retail, Business and International Banking, Mark St. Hill.

He said it also offered staff “a chance to leave our respective workstations and engage our customers in the banking hall in a very interactive and personalised manner.  Talk to Me Tuesdays! should be our fun day at work –  a day that we dedicate to getting to know our customers personally, finding out what their banking needs are and recommending to with the products and services that match their expectations,” he added.

“It’s designed for people who may walk into a branch and pick up a brochure, or see an advertisement, and may want to know more about a product, but may find approaching a customer service representative behind a desk a bit intimidating. It’s for people who want to ask questions about a particular product or some other aspect of the service we provide and don’t want to talk with someone on the phone. It’s putting the old values of the branch manager “walking the floor” and interacting even more with our customers – something our research is telling us we need to do more of in today’s world of banking. It’s about connecting with our customers,” noted Country Manager, Ladesa James-Williams.

In St. Lucia, customers can look forward to Talk to Me Tuesdays! starting from May 6, 2014.

Talk to Me Tuesdays! kicked off in  Nassau, Bahamas, on Tuesday April 8, at the Harbour Bay, Bay Street, Shirley Street and Sandy Port branches, and from the reports of both staff and customers,  the initiative was warmly welcomed by customers who took the opportunity to get more details on some of the bank’s products and services.

On April 22 Talk to Me Tuesdays! will be rolled out at CIBC FirstCaribbean’s branches on Grand Bahama, Eleuthera and Abaco.
